Disney Bridal Dresses Biography

Source:-(Google.com.pk)

Miss Peppermint recently posted some of the dresses from Disney’s new wedding dress line.  The 6 collections by designer Kirstie Kelly – Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, Ariel – each have 6 different styles inspired by each princess.  You can view the entire collection of wedding dresses as well as their new Maidens line here.
Some of the dresses are quite nice, and they’re available at bridal boutiques such as Kleinfelds.  But do you think these lines will only appeal to Disney fanatics?  Would you consider a Disney bridesmaid dress?

Leave it to Disney to design a line of wedding dresses. I say this, of course, as an annual-pass-carrying member who has been to nearly all the Disney parks in the world (Disneyland/CA Adventures, Disney World, Disneyland Paris, & Tokyo Disney). But wedding dresses…I must admit I didn’t see it coming. And these are offered at couture prices ($1,100 to $3,500).

Let me preface this: I love Disney. I love the movies, the Princesses…the marketing. I mean, who doesn’t want to eat a pretzel in the shape of Mickey Mouse?? But something about this is taking it too far… Although, I guess, if you can get married at the park, pay $2,500 to be brought up main street in Cinderella’s carriage and have Prince Charming’s footman be your ring bearer, why not have a dress for the occasion?! Now, I haven’t decided my opinion on the dresses. In one sense, I really want them to recreate the dresses from the movies (man, I love the dress Sleeping Beauty wears–although nobody in the world has her proportions…perhaps that’s true of ALL the princesses though). And in another sense, I appreciate what they’re going for in trying to capture the “essence” of the character (and with this tactic, they can keep churning out dresses and aren’t limited to merely what the characters wear in the movie).
Is it just me or are these poses a little provocative.
With Robbie Williams switching on the Oxford Street Christmas lights earlier this week, winter is well and truly here. Joining the festive celebration is London's iconic department store Harrods, who have unveiled their Christmas window displays with an impressive collaboration of Disney and designer gowns.
The luxury store has masterminded a collaboration between legendary animation brand Disney and ten leading fashion designers, namely Valentino, Marchesa, Elie Saab, Missoni, Oscar de la Renta, Escada, Versace, Roberto Cavalli and Ralph & Russo. And who better to complete the set of designers selected to dress up a princess than Jenny Packham? Renowned for designing the Duchess of Cambridge's royal wedding look, the British designer has turned her hand to dolling up Rapunzel with her own magical look fit for finding any prince.
The design brief was to create contemporary, bespoke dresses to make every girl's dream of becoming a Disney princess possible. In addition, each of the iconic characters is displayed within their very own magical worlds to bring the fairytale to life. These displays will be an inspirational sight to ladies up and down the country looking for their perfect wedding gown. And future brides be alert, this time of month is the most common time of year for partners to pop that all-important question...
For a Disney lover like me, there are not enough words to write how unbelievably awesome this Disney-inspired wedding is. We appreciate a bride committed to her theme – this Princess Ariel bride found her Prince Eric and celebrated with some “Under the Sea” magic. Check out the photos!
It’s about to be proposal season (that time between the four big holidays — Thanksgiving through Valentine’s Day) when the majority of couples in the U.S. get engaged. To some women, there’s nothing more romantic and magical than the idea of a Disney proposal. Here are our favorite Disneyland and Walt Disney World proposal spots!

At a Princess Meet & Greet
How fun would it be to have Jasmine, Aurora and Cinderella in on the proposal details? You will now all have something in common – your own Prince Charming!
Can you imagine surviving the drop on Splash Mountain and when you go to see the photo you see this? We hope this put the bride-to-be in her "laughing place."

A Resort Beach During the Fireworks Show
One of the most romantic proposals we can think of is during the fireworks like this one at Walt Disney World – just like Danny and Vicky from Full House!

At The Haunted Mansion
If you are fans of the Haunted Mansion, you can get engaged here in the graveyard. You foolish mortals will have a hand to hold (forever) in your doombuggy while watching out for hitchhiking ghosts!

At the Entrance
Right through those gates at the entrance, is one of the most iconic train stations and a flower Mickey – and your future husband on one knee!

After months of planning to say their “I do’s” at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando hotel and resort near Walt Disney World, Lakisha & Baron Lattimore discovered that their JFK flights had been canceled due to Superstorm Sandy and all that she had wrecked havoc on in the greater tri state area.
Rather than let Sandy ruin their special day, Lakisha and Baron Lattimore escaped from their devastated Brooklyn, NY home by chartering a bus to take friends and family down to their destination wedding location in Orlando, Florida early Thursday morning. Gown in hand (refusing to let it get wet), Latisha had always dreamed of her Disney fairytale wedding and that’s exactly what she got.
Despite severe flooding and evacuation craziness, the couple and their 80 wedding guests made their way to paradise (just a short 1,100 miles away). The bridal party was on time for their Friday evening vows and fireworks sealed the deal. The couple is living proof that love conquers all.
According to WESH.com the couple had planned to honeymoon in Orlando, but they decided to head back to New York and help with clean up efforts instead. We are so happy that Baron still got to kiss his bride!
